SERVICES AVAILABLE TO TRAINING CENTRES

Having been involved in the delivery of CLAIT since 2004, our experience includes:

  • Tutor delivery of CLAIT levels 1 and 2 in self-paced learning environments
  • Production of a range of training materials, workbooks and tutor resources
  • Carrying out live assessments
  • Production of tutor worked copies for submission to OCR
  • Production of annotated tutor marking copies to standardise marking
  • Marking of live assessments
  • Submission of ARF’s for OCR verification and certification

Based upon this experience, we are able to offer a range of support services directly to training centres, designed to help centres deliver and administer CLAIT as easily and effectively as possible.

These services include:

Tailor-made training materials

We offer a customisation service for all our materials, and can also write materials for other I.T. courses you may wish to deliver. Materials would normally be supplied to you in Word and PDF format to print and edit as required. We would work with you to create the materials precisely to an agreed specification.

Conversion of training materials

As software constantly evolves, training materials can soon become out of date and not really fit for purpose. We can update or re-write your existing materials to take into account software changes (for example, converting Windows XP/Office 2003 materials to Vista/Office 2007).

Worked copies and marking copies

We can produce your CLAIT “tutor worked copies” for you, together with “marking” worked copies, annotated to make marking live assessments quick, easy and accurate. These can be prepared on your premises using your software and hardware, so as to properly satisfy OCR regulations.

Tutoring

Following the successful completion of a five year community project for Warwickshire County Council, JustClait proprietor Martin Barrett is currently available for CLAIT levels 1 and 2 tutoring.
